  • We'll give you every assistance to ensure that you receive an acceptable & workable Documentary Letter of Credit
  • We'll examine the detail of the communications you have had with your Buyer - including checking the Contract and/or Purchase Order and/or Order Acknowledgement -all to ensure that you receive a workable L/c which provides you with maximum security
  • Upon receipt of L/c, we'll ensure that all the necessary criteria has been met
  • We'll advise on part-drawings and/or part-shipments
  • If L/c amendments are required, we'll raise the necessary request for the amendment, and continue to monitor until workable & operative L/C has been received
  • Ensure that you are aware of all the time constraints with the L/c - ensuring that you get your goods packed and ready for despatch in good time

  • If Packing Restrictions apply - then we'll assist you throughout (i.e ISPM 15 standard for wood packing materials - we'll advise you on IPPC marking)
  • If Pre-Shipment Inspection is required - then we'll help you through all the various stages
  • We'll raise all the appropriate export documents - as required by the L/c - including: Drafts (sight or term, whatever the L/c requires), Commercial Invoices & Packing Lists, Certificates of origin (EC or Arab-British), Insurance Certificate, EUR-1 or ATR as appropriate, Beneficiary Certificates & Declarations - indeed - whatever the L/C requires!
  • We'll liase with your nominated Freight Forwarder/Shipping Line etc. - providing them with detailed instructions to ensure that they issue transport document(s) compliant to L/C requirements
  • We'll ensure the documents get to the bank on time
  • We'll liase with the bank to monitor receipt and acceptance - we'll assist you to achieve prompt payment with minimum fuss and cost
  •  The above points are aimed at Exporters / Sellers, who are engaged in exporting goods overseas for which they require security of payment . . . . . . .
